Bobby's Hideaway

Bobby's Hideaway sits on the outskirts of the Oaken Swamp, a bar built of moldy wood and sheet metal that offers two things to the people who find it: hooch and music. One of three small outposts serving as stopping points for those passing through the dangerous wetlands, the Hideaway caters to Gator Hunters coming off a hard day's work, traders waiting for their next guide, and anyone else who needs a drink badly enough to risk the swamp's edge.
The bar is relatively safe by swamp standards, which is another way of saying that the primary dangers are bar brawls rather than Bull Gators. The occasional fight breaks out among patrons who have had too much to drink or too little luck, but the violence tends to stay inside the walls rather than attracting the attention of the creatures outside. Live music plays most nights, the sound drifting across the swamp water and mixing with the calls of frogs and insects.
Bobby's Hideaway does not pretend to be more than it is. It is a place to rest, drink, and listen to music at the edge of a swamp that would kill you without noticing. For the Gator Hunters and traders who work the Oaken Swamp, that is enough.
