Bulldogs
The Bulldogs are the local guard force at Hoover Falls, and their job is as simple as it is relentless: defend the dam. Raider clans press from the west. Zed incursions push from the east. Sabotage attempts emerge from within. The Bulldogs stand at the checkpoints on each end of the dam causeway, heavily armed and always watching, holding the line against threats that never stop coming.
They will die for the dam. They have proven that more than once. But dying is not a substitute for getting paid, and every caravan and wanderer crossing the causeway knows the toll: a bribe, collected with the efficiency of people who understand that the service they provide is worth whatever they choose to charge for it.
