Cleric Fatima Wahid Ali-Waziri is a stubborn, headstrong Rover clan matriarch who ran the Medina-Dearborn Fallow Hopes compound on the outskirts of Motor City during the Ironworks era. Her branch of the Fallow Hopes blended Islamic tenets with Buddhist, Christian, and even Scientologist ideas into a syncretic faith that guided her community. The compound itself was a heavily armed fortress that served as a critical part of Motor City's western defense, repelling raiders, bandits, and undead many times under her leadership.
Fatima had no time for nonsense or sentimentality, with one exception: she maintained a particular fondness for animals and children. She was pragmatic about local politics, adhering to Ironworks law and returning escaped slaves to maintain the compound's autonomy in religious practices. The compromise kept her people alive and free to worship, even if it meant participating in a system she had no love for.
