Home
A red and white sign reads "Welcome Home!" at the end of a long, well-maintained dirt road. What started as a small waypoint for traveling Nuclear Family members to find a piece of their faith in the wilderness has grown into a proper settlement, a thriving community of survivalists united by one principle: everyone who lives at Home must contribute to keeping Home.
The hard-working ashen earth left behind by the Burning creates ideal conditions for farming. Residents are stubborn to a fault, raised to work with dedication to protect their community. Hard work earns a good meal at the end of the night, and everyone watches out for each other. No threat from jungles, mountains, or plains has ever brought Home to its knees, and its people intend to keep that record intact. They are often the first to volunteer for the annual Burning, pushing back the Overgrowth with fire and sweat so that settlements like this one can continue to exist.
Father Margaret runs Home with an intrepid hand, the daughter of a farmer and businesswoman with a keen eye for community safety. Whether beating back the wilds or pushing out wayward strangers who threaten the settlement from within, her leadership keeps the community focused on what matters: survival, family, and the soil that feeds both. Home is looked upon with admiration throughout Lorado as a beacon of what the Burnlands can produce, a brighter alternative to the fear-inducing Forgotten Outpost. As long as Home stands, there is a future for everyone in the Wastelands.

History
Home began as a small waypoint where traveling Nuclear Family members could find a piece of their faith in the wilderness of Lorado. The hard-working ashen earth from the Burning provided ideal farming conditions, and the waypoint grew steadily into a proper settlement. Built on the founding principle that every resident must contribute to the community's survival, Home attracted dedicated Nuclear Family faithful who proved that the Burnlands could sustain something worth protecting. Under the leadership of Father Margaret, the community has never fallen to any threat from jungles, mountains, or plains.
Geography
Home sits on the edge of the Wildfire Wastes in Lorado, built on land reclaimed from the Overgrowth by the Burners. The ashen earth left by the annual Burning creates fertile conditions for farming. The settlement lies along a long, well-maintained dirt road and serves as both a working farm and a fortified community in the transitional zone between jungle and cleared Burnlands.
