Somewhere in the wasteland, someone you trust completely is waiting for activation orders. They might be your friend, your partner, your family. They have lived beside you for years, shared meals, shared laughter, shared grief. None of it was real. When the orders arrive, they will kill you with whatever is close at hand and disappear before your body cools.
The Mors family produces the most lethal operatives Murder Inc has ever fielded, and the most psychologically shattered. Members are adopted young and subjected to conditioning that systematically destroys their identity. They are told, repeatedly and from childhood, that they are no one and nothing without the family. By the time training ends, the original person is gone. What remains is an operative capable of killing with a broken bottle, a rock, a length of wire, or bare hands, and feeling no more about it than breathing.
Mors operatives are placed into communities where they build lives indistinguishable from the genuine article. Friends, lovers, confidants. The connections are manufactured with exacting care, maintained for as long as necessary, and severed without hesitation when the time comes. They leave total destruction in their wake and vanish as though they never existed.
The initiation ritual is the Coffin Burial. The initiate is sealed inside a coffin and buried underground for fifteen minutes. It marks the death of the ego: everything the person once was, gone. When the earth is cleared and the lid opens, what crawls out belongs entirely to the cause.

Throughout their upbringing, initiates are told they are no one and nothing without the family. The conditioning produces operatives who can kill with any available object, from a broken bottle to a rock to a knife, and who feel no personal attachment to anyone. The culmination is The Coffin Burial: the initiate is sealed in a coffin and buried for fifteen minutes, signifying the death of the ego and rebirth as a pure instrument of the family's will.
Public Agenda
The Mors Family exists to place operatives into communities as friends, family members, and lovers, then activate them to kill when orders arrive. Their mission is unconditional lethality through total identity erasure: members are trained to kill with anything available, embed anywhere without arousing suspicion, and leave absolute destruction in their wake before disappearing. The only thing that matters is the cause; everything else, including the operative's own humanity, was sacrificed long before the first assignment.
