Alley Kats
The Alley Kats rule the Vegasian wastes from the backs of their scrap-cobbled rat bikes, machines held together with bad intentions and mechanical expertise in roughly equal measure. They are the second largest gang in the Vegasian territories (the largest, if you have the good sense to exclude the Final Knights from the count), and their presence extends both within and outside Vegas proper through dozens of chapters, each controlling its own businesses and sections of territory.
A Nuclear Family at heart, the Alley Kats are inspired by the pre-fall culture of the 1950s and 1960s, a romanticized Americana filtered through generations of wasteland survival. Each chapter is led by a Father and a Mother. The Father oversees weapons, munitions, war, and the settling of internal disputes, and holds the authority to decree the death of a member. The Mother ensures supplies, entertainment, and the overall well-being of the chapter, controlling all aspects of sex, drugs, and daily living needs. In practice, the Mothers frequently wield more real power than the Fathers, because the person who controls whether you eat, sleep comfortably, and have access to the things that make survival bearable does not need a title to be obeyed.
