The Children of Father Night embrace the half of the cycle that most of the Tribes would prefer to romanticize: the dark, the predatory, and the raw. They revere the nocturnal world, the turning of Mother Luna, and the cycles of the stars, holding that the night is not a time for rest but a stage for nature's most brutal truths. The New Moon calls for the hunt, the Full Moon demands reflection, and the waning moon whispers of endings. In the darkness, the Children find clarity.
Their practices are among the most unsettling in the Tribes. Marked by their reverence for nighttime creatures (owls, bats, raccoons, scavenging insects) the Children embrace the roles of predator and scavenger alike. They see the hunt as sacred and the act of consuming prey as a means of absorbing its strength and vitality. Their rites include symbolic cannibalism, consuming portions of their fallen as an act of reverence for the cycle of life and death. This practice has earned them a reputation as dangerous even among other Tribes members.

Their rituals are accompanied by the Hymns of the Void, low, resonant chants that mimic the sounds of wind and distant howls, said to call upon Father Night's favor.
