Mary Lou Stevens
Mary Lou Stevens comes from a family that has been killing gators in the Oaken Swamp for as long as anyone can remember. Her grandparents were born in the swamp, learned the water before they learned to walk, and passed the hunting tradition down through every generation that followed. Mary Lou carries that legacy with the fierce territorial pride that defines the gator hunting community.
She hunts the Oaken Swamp alongside the other families, working in the team hunts of six or more that are standard practice in the region. Her warning to outsiders is simple and representative of every hunter in the community: the swamp belongs to the families who work it, and poachers do not last long enough to establish a counter-argument.
