Shamgrala Tiki Bar and Armory

Shamgrala Tiki Bar and Armory is the most ridiculous building on the worst street in Harbormarch, and that is precisely the point. A knot of hardened structures fused to the ruin's edge at Murder Gardens, ringed with catwalks and floodlights, it wears an aggressively cheerful tiki sign no serious outpost would admit to owning. The weather-faded tropical paint holds up right until a visitor notices the gouges in the door frames, the bite marks in the wood, and the skulls fixed above certain doorways. Up front it is an armory, its walls packed with reworked dock tools, sawback machetes, cut-down rifles, and harpoons sharpened for punching through dead flesh. Behind that sit rotation barracks, and at the center is the bar itself, a deliberately garish oasis built to mock death to its face. A short hall connects it all to the clinical Ossuary side, where the dead are cataloged rather than laughed at.
  The place runs as the joint operations center for the Blacktide Hunters, the Aysea branch known as Lucy's Chosen, and the Ossuary Society, and it is one of the rare corners of Harbormarch where someone gets to be a memorable individual instead of being quietly filed down. Big Mamma Green commands the Blacktide crew, over seven feet of protective authority; Hector Ausera anchors the Ossuary side; and the bar is kept by a Rover called Thumper. Big Mamma lays the terms out plainly to anyone who wanders in: you are not a prisoner, not a recruit, not debt stock or holy property, and you can leave whenever you like. What waits inside, by her account, is breakfast, guns, and better odds. Belonging is not sworn here but accumulated, through shared shifts and earned nicknames, and it is marked on a wall of dried red handprints, one for every friend who came through and is held to still belong even once the dead take them back.
