In the middle of the Tinderlands, on a flat plain that offers no reason for anything to be there, a ring of large stone mounds sits in silence. The interior is cleared of scrub and brush, showing only bare sand. The exterior shows noticeable vegetative growth. During daylight, the Stone Circle is unremarkable.   The Stone Circle is the subject of many rumors and legends. Some say standing in the center at midnight causes the spirit of the seasons to appear and tell your future. Others claim a natural spring erupts from the center during a full moon at a certain time of year. A persistent legend holds that a hidden door near the stones leads to a repository of pre-Fall secrets. The Cult of Stone, founded by Simon Barrows, makes annual pilgrimages to the site. Barrows and his followers report hearing words from the stones during their visits, though the stones sometimes remain silent and offer nothing at all.
  Finding the Stone Circle without a guide is nearly impossible. Only the Fortin Clan and experienced Tinderlands hunters know the exact location, and they charge a nominal fee to lead visitors there. The circle does not explain itself, does not perform on demand, and does not care whether anyone believes. It simply sits on its empty plain and waits.
