A tribe of Natural Ones in Rising City who believe the poisoned lake is a sacred gift cursed by outsiders. Led by the Gilled Man, they have adapted to survive the poisonous water and wage guerrilla warfare against the Lake Rats, sabotaging water pumps and sinking boats.
