Vine Ranch Villa

An old Spanish-style manor that survived the Fall, preserved by the extreme dry heat of Death Valley. The Vine Ranch Villa stands as one of the few permanent structures in the basin, its pre-fall architecture distinctive against the salt flats and canyon trails that surround it. A power generator and brewing stills keep the facility operational.
A small number of well-armed year-round residents maintain the Villa and its equipment. They depend heavily on the racing circuit trade and have developed close relationships with the nomadic Dieseljock tribes that pass through seasonally. The Villa serves as the primary dispatch point for impromptu racing circuits in Death Valley, with seasonal events popping up on the salt flats and canyon trails. A Spanish manor in a valley where the heat should have turned it to dust, kept alive by diesel fumes and racing bets.
