Creature

Very few people have seen Creature and lived to describe him. Those who have speak of a monstrous figure covered head to foot in red, flaky skin, a Remnant mutation that gives him the appearance of scales or a perpetual severe sunburn. He rules the Valley of Monsters in I-Die-Low, and his rule is absolute.
Creature leads a half-wild society of Remnant outcasts bound together by a simple philosophy: the rest of the world will never accept them, so they will build their own. The Valley is a Remnant sanctuary, if sanctuary is the right word for a place where every non-Remnant who enters is slaughtered regardless of age. Rumors persist that Creature eats the flesh of those he kills. Whether true or exaggerated, the rumors do their work; caravans give the Valley a wide berth.
His charisma is undeniable. Insane by any conventional measure, Creature nonetheless attracts followers who find in his ideology a validation that the outside world never offered. Captured Remnants who wander into the Valley are given a choice: join the family or share the fate of every non-Remnant who came before. Most join. The alternative is not survivable.
Creature has built something in the Valley of Monsters, part commune, part raider kingdom, part asylum. It functions on his force of will and the shared conviction of its members that they have been cast out by everyone else. That conviction makes them loyal. It also makes them dangerous in a way that goes beyond simple violence.
