The Clarke family fortune was made in pre-fall engineering and big industry. After the Fall, the family shifted to the racing circuit and Dieseljock caravan trade built around the Reno Auto Reserve.
Clarke's people have found the best caches and iron horse graveyards, locations known only to Dieseljock tribes willing to trade their secrets for access to the Reserve's engineering marvels. More than a few racers and traders carry long-standing debts of service to the Clarke family.
