Raymore Diggins
Raymore Diggins left a family farm near Lone Star because he believed the world at large was one community, and that community needed someone to look after it. His parents, Josephine and Earl, were Quiet Folk who understood the desire to foster community even if they preferred to do it closer to home. They supported his decision when they understood his reasons, and Raymore joined the Postal Workers.
Quiet, kind, and polite by nature, Diggins was also highly intelligent, though he rarely advertised it. He was often mistaken for a quiet Merican, which suited him fine. He dressed in tans and browns, preferring leather and natural tones, and presented himself neatly to put others at ease. Nothing about him announced the scope of the work he was doing.

When Armistice, then known only as 20467, was beaten and left for dead by Commander Williams after a failed escape from the Iron Works, Diggins was the one who found her. When the Uprising learned that the Ironworks planned to transport a weapons asset through outlying settlements, Diggins was sent to coordinate with local towns. He traveled under constant threat, dodging Iron Works assassins and mercenaries on the road. He watched companions die during the journey. When he arrived, he presented the Uprising's plan: feign cooperation with the Ironworks, allow the military to occupy the settlement, and then destroy the weapons asset from within at a coordinated signal.
After the plan succeeded, Diggins told the people he had worked with that the Uprising was moving on. No letters, no communication, no further contact. He left, as he arrived, in service to a community larger than any single settlement.
