Sathrik Son Louise
Sathrik Son Louise grew up on the Conch Battalion, the child of two Salt Wise who taught them to fish before they could read. Days were spent away from the fleet hauling tuna and large fish, keeping the water-based community fed. It was a simple life, measured by nets and tides, and it ended when Sathrik turned eighteen.
A letter arrived from the Sunken Saints. It asked Sathrik to deliver a package to a man named Gary Sholeman. When the Sunken Saints send a letter, you do not say no. Sathrik delivered the package. A few days later, Sholeman died of a mysterious sickness. More favors followed, more jobs, each one pulling Sathrik deeper into the Saints' network.
When the Iron Works began closing shipping lanes and patrolling canals to recapture escaped slaves, Sathrik's conviction crystallized: the oceans and waterways should be free for all, not controlled by the few. At the request of Captain Vincent Douglas, Sathrik joined the New Kingdom to subvert the Iron Works. The Sunken Saints soon aligned with the cause after the Iron Works demanded the death of all postal workers. The Trade Union followed.
During the Regicide era (~117 DC), Sathrik served as the primary naval coordinator for the conspiracy. Operating from the Conch Battalion's ship, they led missions to sink the Rat King's vessels, rescue refugees fleeing the Kingdom by sea, capture and interrogate Knights pulled from the water, and recover intercepted intelligence. They worked closely with the Dim Lantern on ground operations and with Captain Roberts of the Rising Tide on fleet coordination. Sathrik's role bridged three factions: the Sunken Saints, the New Kingdom, and the allied settlements that served as the diversionary rebellion.
