Most Darwinists look outward for the next step in evolution. The Synaptic Fold looks inward, past flesh and bone, into the volatile territory of the mind itself. This subsect believes that psionic potential is society's sharpest tool for advancement, and they pursue that belief into places that would make most survivors flinch: the unstable intersection of Aberrant psionics and Necrology, deep within the turbulent reactions of the Mortis Amaranthine.
"Mind over matter" is where they begin. "Mind over reality" is where they intend to finish. Members of the Fold combine psionic abilities with necrological study, treating the Mortis's violent rejection of Aberrant influence not as a warning but as a crucible.
