Asian Continent
The post-Fall Asian continent spans from volcanic fire-and-ice territories in the north through irradiated crater wastelands, militarized strongholds, and undead-dense mercantile lands in the south. Each region adapted to the Fall in dramatically different ways based on pre-fall military readiness, geography, and local resourcefulness.
Northern Asia
Volcanic mountains span the Kazakhstan and Russia territories in a landscape of fire and ice. Below ground, Lascarian civilizations thrive in carved caves and underground bunkers, sustained by warm springs and thermal dynamics. Above ground, Retrograde and Red Star populations survive alongside Full Dead that have awakened from pre-fall graves and tombs.
Central Asia
An irradiated wasteland dominated by craters larger than the entirety of Old York. Radiation-consuming fungus grows in deep lakes across the blasted terrain. Only the heartiest Retrogrades survive in the central wastes. The southern reaches, where life has begun to take hold again, support nomadic Rovers, Diesel Jocks, and mobile caravan empires.
Western Asia
The former Middle East territories adapted well to the post-Fall world. Militarized pre-fall cultures with generations of combat experience banded together against the common undead threat. Xenophobic strain communities carry on their ancestors' legacy with relatively little resource loss, now adapting old-world technologies to function in the irradiated modern world.
Southern Asia
The highest undead concentration in the entire world. The people adapted by building on high mountain tops and constructing stilt structures above thick brackish radiation clouds. Devastating oceanic activity and poison rain storms batter the region constantly. Despite all of this, Southern Asia remains a culture-rich mercantile territory where threats are overcome through vigilance and engineering rather than brute force. Raiders are far less common here than in the Americas.
