It is a sprawling operation, and behind the retail front lies the real business: archeological exploration of the Reserve's caches and iron horse graveyards.
The Clarke family fortune was originally built on pre-fall engineering and big industry. After the Fall, that expertise shifted to the racing circuit and Dieseljock caravan trade centered on the Reserve. Few outside the Dieseljock tribes know the locations of the best buried machines and hidden caches, but Malcolm Clarke has found them.
