Jim Hotep
Tall and dark, with a shaved head and kohl painted in the Eye of Ra pattern over his right eye. Jim Hotep is almost always seen in a thick canvas apron laden with tools, covered with burns and grease stains. He is the best mechanic in Vegasia, and everyone who matters knows it. The Bellagio, Fortuna, and Starkraven families all keep him on retainer. If something is broken in Vegasia, Jim Hotep can fix it for the right price.
He serves as chief mechanic of the Guts N Bolts tournament, personally checking every car entered and knowing that too shoddy or unstable a vehicle will not make for a good show. Fiercely loyal, he hates owing a favor and will stop at nothing to repay a debt. He claims to actually hail from the Black Pyramid, the headquarters of the Final Knights, but flatly refuses to discuss it under any circumstances. The best wrench in the territory, and the only man who walked out of the Black Pyramid and will not say why.
