Miss Fortuna
Red-headed, athletic, and trim, with piercing blue eyes and a face to break hearts. Miss Priscilla Fortuna is the sole controller of the Fortuna wealth and the Fortune 5000, and she holds a seat at the High Rollers table that once belonged to her dead husband. The bubbly and warm exterior she showed before his murder was quickly replaced with something cold and calculating. A shrewd business woman, skilled assassin, and rumored psion, she has sworn never to take the company of another man in fear of besmirching Mister Fortuna's memory.
Her celibacy regarding men has not prevented her from maintaining a personal stable of female companions at the Bath Houses. Each of her ladies bears a two-of-hearts brand above their hearts, and all were trained at Madam Mumsy's academy. The brand marks them as hers alone. Those who know the story understand: she died a little with her husband. What came back was sharper, colder, and single-minded in regards to power.

Personal history
Mister Fortuna was murdered in a private room of the Bath Houses by Johnny Two-Smiles, a man born to a not-quite-High-Roller family who fell in love (or lust) with Miss Fortuna. The killing transformed her overnight. She cut deep across Johnny's throat in retaliation, giving him the scar that earned the name "Two-Smiles." Whether he died from the wound, fled east, or hides somewhere in the Black Pyramid is a matter of enduring speculation. What is not speculative: Miss Fortuna became the sole controller of everything Mister Fortuna had built, took his seat at the High Rollers table, and has not looked back since.
