Their world revolves around music, specifically the hard rock tradition of the Kings, and everything they do serves that devotion.
They sponsor musicians and bands, organize the largest annual music festival in the region, and book performances as far afield as Peach Tree City. The Road Crew, their enforcement arm, ensures that every musician gets paid and every venue that forgets to pay regrets the oversight quickly. The Savage Angels trace their origin to the war on the Miami Keys, where King's Court followers and La Havana's Red Star communes clashed over control of the islands. The fighting began when the King's Court shifted from the peaceful influence of the Queens of Soul toward the harder Kings of Rock, raising tensions with the Red Star communities that had previously coexisted with the Mericans. The war ended badly for the Court; the unified Red Star forces wiped out the Merican settlements, and mass graves from the slaughter still lie on the outlying islands.
