World's End Trading Post

The World's End Trading Post occupies the old Bronx Zoo grounds, one of the few patches of elevated dry land in the Iron Gardens. Visitors enter through an archway beneath the aging "Bronx Zoo" sign, passing heavy brick walls backed with scrap reinforcements and a blunt scrap sign reading "Buy, Sell, Trade. Thieves Killed."
Inside, the market is a sprawling maze of improvised stalls, patched tents, and scrap-walled booths where vendors peddle everything from munitions to meals. Trading follows a daily rhythm: early morning draws hunters of rare fresh goods, midday brings the full market crush, late afternoon shifts to property and entertainment deals, and after dark the desperate remnant vendors sell whatever is left.

Grip Set Compound

At the center of the market sits the Grip Set compound, surrounded by metal fences and armed guards. The walls are covered in inked tags, and the ceiling is draped with dangling records, tapes, and headphones. Inside, a room marked "Pimps Hideaway" houses an operating radio station that broadcasts the voices of Grip Set across the surrounding territory.

Dangers

The zoo's brick walls are under constant pressure from undead mobs. Guards regularly clear the gates, and a multitude of sentries man the perimeter at all times. Violence inside the market is handled swiftly by Grip Set enforcers; offenders are thrown over the walls to the waiting dead. A well-rumored black market trades in goods stolen from Pure Blood strongholds and less-protected caravans.
