33rd Street Boys
Every member a zealot, every trespasser a sacrifice. The 33rd Street Boys are a Final Knights gang that controls Hell's Gate, a three-story reinforced building rising above the burnt-out ruins of the Brokelands. Bonfires mark the perimeter like the campfires of some ancient siege, and the heads of those foolish enough to cross into their territory stare from spikes along the outer walls.
The gang is organized into hunting packs of six or more, each led by a Bishop who serves as both squad leader and spiritual guide. Below the Bishop, an Exarch manages logistics and munitions; an Enforcer arbitrates internal disputes with fists and blades; and the lowest rank, the Bitch, endures a brutal initiation designed to shatter morality and rebuild it in the image of the Final Knights. Every member is a true believer. There are no casual affiliates in the 33rd Street Boys.
Their most feared sub-group is the Pale Horse Riders: a motorized patrol unit mounted on salvaged patchwork motorcycles, armored in scrap iron and fueled by high-grade Red Mist stimulants. They carry large-bore guns and scrap iron flails, thundering through the Brokelands perimeter with the conviction of those who already consider themselves dead. Their rocker patches read "Already Dead" in deep red beneath the gang's signature skull-and-33 iconography.
The Matriarch, a Retrograde known as Modest Mary, rules from the Hell's Gate compound as both gang leader and Final Knights high priestess. She is attended by three zealots promoted from the Pale Horse Riders, and her authority is absolute within the territory. The surrounding ruins are stalked by Hates, evolved undead that function as unintentional guard creatures, picking off lone travelers and wounded groups before they ever reach the compound walls.

History
The 33rd Street Boys have held Hell's Gate long enough that the surrounding ruins have become synonymous with their presence. No account of their founding survives in the public record; what is known is that the gang consolidated its grip on this corner of the Brokelands through a combination of religious fervor and brutal territorial enforcement.
Their influence recently extended beyond the Brokelands when three dozen of their fighters, known to outsiders as "Demons," backed a power play in the Iron Gardens. The new leadership of the Dons was installed with 33rd Street Boys standing in the room, their presence a reminder that the gang's reach does not stop at the walls of Hell's Gate. Treaties signed in the Blues Note Bar formalized the arrangement, binding the Dons to keep resources flowing in exchange for the mutual protection that Brokelands muscle provides.
