Betty "Cat" Blake

Betty "Cat" Blake stepped onto a stage at an open mic night in Charles Town and never left. The Merican red-head grew up listening to bands in the local bars and gambling halls, absorbing the sounds that would shape her career long before the Mountain Rockers split from the Savage Angels gave her a faction to represent.
She is the most famous performer among the Mountain Rockers and one of the most recognized faces in the broader King's Court. Her talent spans guitar and voice, and her performances draw crowds that other musicians measure themselves against. The devotion she inspires in her following is so complete that threatening her is considered equivalent to pronouncing one's own death sentence; a veritable army of fans would eliminate any threat before it could be carried out.
Betty represents the Mountain Rockers' philosophy made visible: music as influence, crowds as power, talent as authority. Where the Savage Angels enforce with blades and Road Crew intimidation, the Rockers put Betty on a stage and let the audience do the rest. She is the public face of a faction that chose song over violence and found a way to make the choice work.
